If you are looking for a clock that will be displayed on your desktop and will show the time synchronized with atomic time servers than DS Clock should be on your list of possible solutions. This application offers some nice and advanced synchronization tools and also brings a simple stopwatch to your desktop.

We must say that the design and the looks of this clock is not the best we were able to see and that there are still many similar apps that offers better looking “interface” we can add that it still offers a decent amount of options when it comes to customizations. It would be significantly better if it would be offered with theme support.
There are no many fancy tools in this software product, everything is quite simple and that is the reason why many users that have tried similar applications might be disappointed with DS Clock. There is no alarm clock that we were able to see in some similar tools but if you are not looking for something like that than you are quite ok. Everything regarding changes and customization is available in the options menu and through there you will be able to set up synchronization and similar.
When it comes to settings that are regarding appearance we are able to access and change the time format, enable transparency, keep it always on top, set the first day of the week and similar. Looks also can be modified with the changes that are connected with fonts and colors.
Synchronization with atomic time servers can be customized by picking one of the many available services, with dedicated settings to automatically adjust time at a user-defined interval. Everything is done fast and seamlessly.
Since DS Clock is a small application and it offers some simple functions it will not affect your system and performances. We need to say that this program will work just fine on all versions of Windows OS and that there is a 32-bit and 64-bit version. |
